I run a small Etsy shop making polymer clay earrings, and this machine has changed my life. The colour gradients I can achieve with this roller are incredibly smooth. No more black streaks ruining my white clay!
As someone who suffers from mild arthritis, conditioning firm clay by hand was becoming impossible. The hand-crank on this is so smooth and requires very little effort. A brilliant piece of kit for any UK maker.
I use polymer clay in my art therapy sessions. We needed a reliable, safe machine that was easy for beginners to use. The ClayPresse clamps securely to our studio tables and rolls perfectly even sheets every time.
The machine itself is fantastic and conditions clay beautifully. My only minor gripe is that the C-clamp doesn't fit over my custom-built, extra-thick workbench, so I had to mount it to a thinner desk nearby. Otherwise, flawless.
I've gone through three cheap pasta makers in the last two years. I finally decided to invest in a proper polymer clay press, and the difference is night and day. It handles hard Fimo Professional with zero complaints.
Great for miniature crafts. The thinnest setting (0.3mm) is genuinely paper-thin and consistent across the whole width of the roller. You just have to be careful not to roll too fast on the thinner settings to avoid tearing.

Welcome to ClayPresse, the UK's dedicated home for precision polymer clay tools. Founded by a collective of jewellery makers and craft workshop tutors, we understand the unique frustrations that come with preparing polymer clay. For years, crafters have had to make do with repurposed kitchen pasta makers that leave streaks, struggle with firm clay, and ultimately break under pressure. We knew the UK crafting community deserved better.
Our mission was simple: to create a dedicated manual clay press designed exclusively for the studio, not the kitchen. The result is a robust, stainless-steel conditioning machine that effortlessly handles everything from stiff professional-grade clays to delicate colour gradients. We focused on the details that matter to makers-like a wider clay path, a secure table clamp that actually stays put, and precision rollers that guarantee consistent sheet thickness for repeatable results.
Today, ClayPresse is trusted by Etsy sellers, art students, and hobbyists across Britain. Whether you are conditioning your first block of clay or rolling out complex Skinner blends for a bespoke jewellery collection, our tools are designed to save your hands, speed up your workflow, and elevate the quality of your finished handmade pieces. Join the ClayPresse community and experience the difference a dedicated craft tool can make.
